I recently spent the weekend (literally in my PJ’s) at the lovely, spacious, Scrap Retreat house with five of my scrapbooking friends and all I can say is WOW! What a fun experience! A six-foot table all to myself, my own comfy bed, all the scrapbooking tools I could possibly need at my disposal, a beautiful kitchen for breakfasts and dinners and girlfriends all around me. Along with another group of six like-minded crafters, the twelve of us had a blast teaching each other our favorite scrapbooking techniques. The weekend was all about crafting together, eating together and generally getting to know each other. The inspiration literally flowed the entire weekend. I can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Ron and Christine, for making such a cozy get-away for the scrapbooking community.

I had a fantastic time this past weekend at the Scrap Retreat House. It's a new scrap retreat house located in the French Valley area of Riverside, California. It was the grand opening weekend, and Christine and her husband have done everything in the house top notch!
